Evelyn K. Goldner

Evelyn Goldner (nee Kaehler) of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at the age of 80.
Evelyn, the daughter of the late Frederick J and Mildred Kaehler, grew up in Westville, NJ. As an adult she lived in Burbank, CA, Fairfax, VA, and Medford, NJ before moving to Mount Laurel. She was married to Robert "Bob" Goldner for 36 years until his death in 2012.
Evelyn worked as a secretary for most of her life. She worked for TRW, RCA, among other places. She briefly worked for Analytikem in Cherry Hill after she received her degree in chemistry. Her love of reading and books led her to work at Barnes and Noble until 2020.
Ev, as her family knew her, loved cats just as much as she loved reading books, the theater, and listening to music. She also loved to do crossword puzzles and various other word puzzles. Ev was very active in her book club and her bridge club.
The outdoors were also something Evelyn enjoyed. She enjoyed hiking through the Pine Barrens and spending time at the beach. She enjoyed seeing the lighthouses in NJ, as well as up and down the East Coast with her beloved husband Bob.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her parents Frederick and Mildred, and her sister Elizabeth Fine (nee Kaehler), brother-in-law Sam Fine, and sister-in-law Nan Kaehler (nee Halscheid). She is survived by her brother, Frederick Kaehler, Jr., step son Robert Goldner (Victoria), nieces Nancy Sher (Damian), Sandy Fine, Fred Kaehler, and Debbie Linkstrom (Don), as well as 1 grandniece and 3 grandnephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation and memorial service on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street, Mount Holly, NJ. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 pm, with memorial service beginning at 2:00 pm. A private inurnment will take place at a later date.
