Preceded in death by her loving husband Dennis M. Hearne Sr.; parents Marie (nee Doodeman) and Jacob Koppers; and siblings and their spouses Frank (Patricia) Koppers, Jack (Virginia) Koppers, Tom (Noreen) Koppers, Robert Koppers, Connie (Neal) Hallahan, Jim Koppers. Evie is survived by her caring sister-in-laws Aileen (Robert's wife) and Bonnie (Jim's wife) Koppers.
Loving mother of the Dennis (Donna) Hearne Jr., Stephen (Julie) Hearne, Julie (Stephen) Doyle, Jeffrey (Jill) Hearne, Michael Hearne, and the late Patricia Hearne; proud grandma of Mathew (Emily) Hearne, Logan (Kiley) Hearne, Mackenzie ( Stephen Pfau) Doyle, Scott (Morgan) Hearne, Cameron Doyle, Meredith Doyle, Madeline Hearne, Nicole (Christopher) Schmitz, Gina (Jake) Yuhasz, Emily (Austin) Toepper, and Amy Horn; great-grandma of Andrew, Lyndie, Rowan, Nathan, and Montgomery; aunt and friend to many.
Evie was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith and found great comfort in praying the Rosary. She treasured every moment spent with her family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to donors' choice are appreciated.
Visitation Wednesday June 18, 2025, from 3 - 8 PM at Hickey Memorial Chapel 4201 W. 147th St. Midlothian, IL 60445. Funeral Thursday 10:30 AM prayers at the funeral home going to St George Church for 11:15 AM Funeral Mass. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery.
