Evelyn Marie Metcalf

Evelyn Marie Metcalf, 90, of Towanda, KS, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025 at home. Graveside service 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2025 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Wichita, KS. Evelyn was born in Eureka, KS on April 11, 1935, to the late Violet P. (Saunders) and Kenneth Glade Coonfield. She sold Avon for many years and had retired as a clerk from Sears. On December 18, 1960, she married Carl Lee Metcalf in Ulysses, KS. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Hill; daughter, Sue Balerio. She is survived by: daughters, Doris Coykendall and husband Berne of Towanda, KS, Alice Hill of Eureka, KS, and Patty Byerlee of Wichita, KS; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
