Evelyn Alexandra Osinski

Evelyn Osinski, age 73, of Warren, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025, in Troy after a brief but intense illness. She is survived by her beloved siblings: Barbara West (Joe) Nardicchio of Limestone, TN, Alfred "Fred," Jr. (Jane) Osinski of Trout Creek, and Hedi "Rose" Buck of Flagstaff, AZ.

Evelyn leaves behind a cherished network of nephews and nieces, along with their families, including John Martinko, Neil (Kelly) Martinko, Ryan Osinski, Eric Armada, Kyrie Buck, Holly (Deema) Gnatishin, and Melinda (Jonny) Wild. She is also remembered by cousins Karen and Diana Heimann and numerous dear friends whose lives she touched.

Before her retirement in 2025, Evelyn made significant contributions during her career with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan in Detroit, and prior to that, with Proctor & Gamble in Cincinnati. Known affectionately as "Cooki," she was a creative and generous aunt, as well as a "grandmother" to at least two generations of children, including the children of Kevin, Jason, and Brian Turi, and many of her coworkers.

Evelyn's hobbies included crafting delightful custom-made cookies and designing original greeting cards. A celebration of her life will be held later this year. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Evelyn’s name to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit or the Grace Centers of Hope in Warren.

Evelyn will be remembered fondly for her kindness, creativity, and the love she shared with her family and friends.
