Evelyn E. Rasmussen

Evelyn E. (Walari) Rasmussen joined her eternal family the morning of April 9, 2022. She was 92 years old. She was blessed to walk hand in hand with her son-in-law, Rick Gorder (Roslyn s husband) to Heaven s Gates.
Evelyn E. Rasmussen was born on a cold, blizzardy day on February 21, 1930, at the family farm in Hebron, ND to John and Anna (Willer) Walari. She was two hours older that her twin sister, Ethlyn and the fourth of six children. In 1936, after the death of her father, the family moved to Gladstone, ND. She attended Gladstone School and graduated from high school in the spring of 1948.
She married Clifford Rasmussen on February 25, 1954 at St. Petri Church of Bruce, SD. They were blessed with six children. They were married for 43 years when he passed away in 1997.
Evelyn loved to sew more than anything else. She sewed for many local wedding parties. She especially loved to make Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. She made ceramic doll faces and parts also. She quilted beautiful and challenging quilts. She was an avid reader and loved doing puzzles.
