Evelyn Frances Rogers

Evelyn Albright Rogers, daughter of the late Arthur Albright and Daviezene Williams Albright, was born August 3, 1931, in Alamance County. Evelyn transitioned into eternal life October 6, 2025, at her home in Haw River, North Carolina, surrounded by family.
Evelyn was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a loyal friend to many. She took great pride in creating and caring for her flower garden as long as her health permitted. She was famous for her made-from-scratch, three-layer cakes. She was a faithful member of Mebane First Baptist Church where she was one of the Mothers of the Church, a dedicated member of Sunday School and a member of the Missionaries. Evelyn worked for Cones Mill and Culp Weaving for many years prior to her retirement in 1997.
Evelyn leaves behind a legacy of love, which will be cherished by: her beloved husband, Willard Rogers Sr.; son, Willard Rogers Jr.; daughters, Patricia Lloyd, Gloria Rogers, Deborah Savage (Theodore), Billie Jo Rogers, Bessie Griffith (Ronnie); thirteen grandchildren, Mark Carr, Terri Carr, Derek Carr, Forrest Rogers, Rodney Lloyd, Bradford Lloyd, Tiffani Rogers (Bill), Jessica Savage, Ashlie Savage, Krista Howard, Michael Howard (Christel), Sopha Chiesa (Andrew), Philip Rogers; seventeen great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; brother in law, Ronald Rudd; adopted daughter: Emma White; special friend Karen Vincent, Sr.; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Evelyn was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosa Carr; son-in-law, Randal Landrum; granddaughter, Syreeta Rogers-Moore; siblings, Lula Albright, Arthur Lee Albright, Joseph Albright, George Graham and Barbara A. Rudd.
