Evelyn Edwards Sheffield, 93, of Beeville, Texas passed away October 24, 2025.
She was born October 6, 1932 in Eden, Texas to James and Effie Edwards. Mrs. Sheffield married Floyd Eugene Sheffield on July 7, 1947.
She was a long-time cafeteria worker for the Nixon-Smiley I.S.D., a member of the Cuero Pentecostal Church, her passions in life were her faith, her cherished family especially her grandchildren, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs fan.
Mrs. Sheffield was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Johnny and James Edwards, her beloved husband Gene Sheffield, daughter Jolynn Winslow, and sons-in-law James Dosset and Jerry Brister.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Sandra Brister, Brenda Dossett, sons Raymond Sheffield, Floyd (Patricia) Sheffield; sisters Jimmie Lou Tidwell, Ruby Lauvaughn Jones, Debra Kay Outlaw; brother Joseph Winfred Edwards; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 9 am Saturday November 1, 2025 and Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday with her grandson Rev. Michael Brister officiating at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas"
