Our sweet Evie girl, Evelyn Grace Thompson, passed away shortly after her two-month mark on December 21, 2025. Evelyn was born on October 8, 2025, at Oswego Hospital to her loving parents, Klarissa Stevens and Billy Thompson.
Evelyn spent five days in the NICU getting stronger before coming home and stealing everyone’s hearts. She was such a beautiful, strong, and smart girl. Just two weeks after being home, she was already beginning to roll over, holding her head high, and recognizing our voices.
Evie was the most beautiful baby girl with the craziest hair, earning her the nickname “Terk” after the gorilla in Tarzan. Her favorite things were Mommy’s milk, Daddy’s voice, Grumpy’s beard, and her bink bink. The best way to make sure Evie got a good nap was with Mema’s fuzzy blanket, Aunt Sam’s squishy pillow, or Aunt Mouse’s snuggles. We hope whenever you see rainbows, cows, or double chins, you think of Evie — those were her things.
In her short time on earth, Evie gave the most extraordinary gift — the gift of life through organ donation. Even in loss, she brought light, hope, and healing to others. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she helped and in the countless lives she touched. Our sweet girl was small, but her impact is immeasurable.
Evelyn is survived by her parents, Klarissa Stevens and Billy Thompson; her siblings, Abigail, Kinslee, Aria, and stepsister Sophia; her grandparents, Robert and Melissa Stevens and Jeanne Currier; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
