Survived by daughter, Linda (Ronald Sr.) Robinson; daughter in law, Judy Smrekar; grandchildren, Ronald (Brenda Harris) Robinson Jr., Wayne (Stephanie) Alberico Jr. and Jennifer Alberico; great grandchildren, Jacob Alberico, Krystal (Wes) Calderon, and Melissa (Nick) Hicks; great-great grandchildren, Jose, Madelyn, Emiliano Calderon, Chase Miranda, Nicholas, and Avery Hicks; stepdaughter, Rene (Bruce) Albers. Numerous, nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Alberico; second husband, Robert Wise; son, Wayne Alberico Sr., children in infancy, Donald and Sharon; parents, John (Louise) Gernenz Jr.; sisters and brothers, and her grandson, Raymond Robinson.
Funeral services for Evelyn will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 11:00 am at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until time of services. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Joliet. Per her wishes, please dress causal and no flowers. In lieu of flowers., donations made to Lightways Hospice would be appreciated. www.lightways.org/donate.
