Everett Cole Obituary
He lived a life grounded in faith, love, and service. A believer in God from a young age, he was an active and faithful member of First Baptist Church of Oberlin, Louisiana, where he served his church community with joy and unwavering commitment throughout his life.
Everett proudly served his country in the United States Navy, carrying his spirit of duty and patriotism long after his military service ended. His dedication to others and his unshakable character left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege to know him.
Family was the center of his world. He was always ready with a warm smile, a helping hand, or a word of encouragement. His boundless energy, uplifting presence, and playful sense of humor filled every room he entered.
A lifelong San Francisco 49ers fan, Everett rarely missed a game, cheering on his team with passion and pride. Whether it was game day or a simple family gathering, he brought enthusiasm and heart to everything he did.
He was survived by his wife Erica Cole; children, Chance Cole, and Lance Cole; father, Clarence Cole, and siblings, Dustin Cole and wife Avery, and Kasie Cole.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Cole; and brother Brian Cole.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m., October 4th, 2025, at the First Baptist Church, 320 Martin Luther King Drive, Oberlin, Louisiana 70655. Interment to follow at Botley Cemetery, Kinder, Louisiana.
