Everett Lee Henderson, age 88, of Altoona, Iowa, passed away on February 1, 2026.
Everett was born on July 14, 1937, in Des Moines, Iowa, where he was also raised. He was the son of Rodney and Esther (Nelson) Henderson.
Everett had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and spent many enjoyable hours hunting and fishing. He was also a fan of NASCAR and liked keeping up with the races. Time spent outdoors and following his favorite pastimes brought him great contentment throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Twila Henderson; his son, Lance Henderson; daughters, Kim Hickman (Dick) and Sue Livingston; Twila's daughters, Deanna Kramme (Kirt) and Cindy Smith (Bob); as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, John, Rodney, and Robert Henderson; sisters-in-law, Carol, Brenda, and Barbara; Twila's daughter, Connie Hunter; and Twila's son, Kevin Lande.
Per Everett's wishes, no services will be planned.
