WEAVER, Everett Harry - Age 84, of Linden, passed away February 24, 2025. Everett was born May 2, 1940 in Flint, the son of the late Harry and Dorothy (Roudabush) Weaver. Everett was a 1958 graduate of Grand Blanc High School and attended Baker College. He spent 27 years with the Grand Blanc Township Police Department. He worked as a patrol officer, a school liaison, Detective, Sergeant, concluding his career doing what he loved, working 3rd shift patrol . Everett was a member of Halsey Old Timers Musical Group, where he played guitar and ukulele. He was an avid Michigan State fan and loved animals, especially his Basset Hounds. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lois Dianne Weaver; children, Leeanne (Fred) Bradley, Celeste (Mark) Deeny, John Weaver; son-in-law, Michael Morgan; step-children, David (Rebecca Stowe) Miner, Douglas (Tricia Starkel) Miner; grandchildren, James (Jennifer) Morgan, Logan Weaver, Derek Miner, Atticus Deeny and Beck Deeny; great-grandchildren, Addison and Savannah Morgan. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Teresalynn Morgan; sister, Ellen McCreedy.
A celebration of his life will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Halsey United Methodist Church, 10006 Halsey Road, Grand Blanc. Visitation with the family and a luncheon will be immediately following until 5:00 PM.
