She was a long-time member of Vinton Baptist Church and later Oakland Baptist Church.
She will be missed and remembered by her niece and caregiver, Margaret Conner; a granddaughter, Amanda Hoback; great-granddaughter, Madalynn Efkeman; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 in the Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road with Rev. Vernon DeLong officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
