For the past 9 months, Evie Jay Tumlinson has been loved by her parents Tyler and Ashley Tumlinson. June 16th was Evie's anticipated arrival date. On June 8th 2025, Evie arrived in the world, already in the arms of Jesus.
All Evie knew of this world was being carried by her beautiful mother. As Ashley carried Evie, she learned the sound of her father's voice and knew it well. She knew the sound of laughter from her brother Tom splashing in the pool. She knew the ping of a softball connecting with a bat while being carried to many of her sister Kamryn's winning softball games. Evie knew the sound of music and cheering while being carried to her sister Addison's champion dance competitions. All of her days Evie has been surrounded by love.
Since learning of existence, Evie has been covered in love and prayers from numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is survived by her maternal grandparents, Gary and Amy Anderson and paternal grandparents, James and Bonnie Tumlinson, maternal great grandparents, the late Donald Paul and Joyce Clare Anderson, Joy Reed, Tom Reed, paternal great grandparents, Jean Tumlinson, the late Dr. R. G. Tumlinson, the late Bill and Jennie Fritcher.
Those who love her will never forget Evie and we'll dream of what she could have become. The Lord did not take Evie from us. He is holding Evie and Evie loves to be held.
