EVILIA LEE

MARCH 26, 1945 – NOVEMBER 3, 2025

     Evilia Lee, 80 years of age, of Las Cruces NM passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 3, 2025. Evilia was born on March 26, 1945 to Maria De Jesus and Neponuseno Hernandez in Madera Chihuahua Mexico. She later met her husband Benito D. Lee of Las Cruces NM. They were married and had three beautiful children named Daniel, Abigail, and Nancy Lee. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to cook, sow, dance, and love listening to music as well as spending time with her family. She also enjoyed taking pictures of her family. She was a beloved friend to those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a faithful Christian woman.

She is predeceased by her parents Maria De Jesus, Neponuseno Hernandez, her husband Benito Durarte Lee, her brothers, Fransisco, Jesus, Norberto, and sisters Rita, Edina Hernandez as well niece Nancy Hernandez.

She is survived by her children Daniel, Abigail, and Nancy Lee. Her Grandchildren Leslie Gonzalez, Ramon Favela, Christian Favela, Dante Lee, Scott Perez, Jerimiah Terrazas, Angel Jaime, Erick Lee, Deyanira, Daniella, Vanessa Lee. Her loving great Grandchildren Yasmine, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Alaina Gonzalez, Ulayna Perez, Christian, Eliano Favela, Daniel Lee, Gerardo, Leonardo Garcia, and Eziah Lee.

Services will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, with a visitation at Getz Funeral Home with a prayer at 7:00 pm by Pastor James. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, 100 S. Espina St. Las Cruces NM 88001. Burial will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave., El Paso TX.
