In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings: Brenda Davis Burton and DeAngelo Davis.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her husband, Michael Royster of the home; daughters: Shavonne Davis of Roxboro, North Carolina, Nichole Hughes of Raleigh, North Carolina, Whitney Evonne Hughes, also of Roxboro and Britney Hughes of Smithfield, North Carolina; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; siblings: Decarlo Davis (Sandra) of Durham, North Carolina, Janice Crutchfield, Edward Davis (Angel) and Karen Wright (Martinez), all of Roxboro; godsons: Dario Smith of Knightdale, North Carolina and Terry Williams (Jessica) of Roxboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 1:00pm at Cunningham & Associates Funeral Services with the Reverend Dwight L. Wilkerson, Pastor at Dan River Bethel Baptist Church, providing the eulogy and the Reverend Danielle Stone, Associate Pastor at Mill Hill Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at the Blue Wing Memorial Gardens, 575 Blue Wing Road (State Road #1332 in Granville County.)
Visitation will be Wednesday at Cunningham & Associates from 1:00pm to 6:00pm, with the family present during the last hour from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. At other times, the family will receive visitors at 215 Lawrence Street in Roxboro 27573.
Her body will lie in state at the funeral home Wednesday from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, one hour prior to the service.
