Larry Donnell Satterfield Sr.

Mr. Larry Donnell Satterfield, age fifty-eight, departed this life and entered into eternal rest Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. He was born in Granville County February 15, 1967, the son of Clifton, Sr. and Lois Thorpe Satterfield.

He leaves to cherish precious memories, his wife, Jacqueline Satterfield of Roxboro, North Carolina; children: Christina Satterfield, also of Roxboro, Larry Satterfield, II ("Jr.") of Semora, North Carolina and Brittney Satterfield of Roxboro; his parents: Clifton Satterfield, Sr. and Lois Thorpe Satterfield; grandchildren: Jordan Satterfield, Elijah Satterfield, Zackary Satterfield and Callan Satterfield, all of Roxboro; siblings: Perry Royster of Rougemont, North Carolina, Clifton "John" Satterfield, Jr. of Roxboro, Sherry Satterfield of Manhattan, New York, Geraldine Satterfield of Roxboro, Audrey Satterfield of Timberlake, North Carolina, Luther Satterfield, also of Timberlake, Jerry Satterfield (Latanya) of Oak Ridge, North Carolina and Delores Satterfield of Oxford, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at the Old Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1111 Oak Grove Mount Zion Road, Roxboro, North Carolina with the Reverend Clyde A. Glass, Pastor, providing the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 1:00pm to 6:00pm with the family present during the last hour from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. His body will lie in state at the church from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, one hour prior to the service.

At other times, the family will receive visitors at the home of his daughter, 323 Weldon Wrenn Road, Roxboro 27574.
