He is survived by his children Christina (Charlie) Davis of North Dakota, Tim (Cristy) Satterfield, AKA "Pitbull" (an inside joke with my dad) of Jewett, Terri Lynn (Brandon) Haney of Scio and Angela Satterfield of New Philadelphia; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brothers Larry (Lindee) Satterfield, Dave Satterfield, Gary Satterfield and Doug (Trisha) Satterfield; sisters Betty (Tom) Poland, Sandy (companion Bill Toker) Satterfield and Wanda Satterfield; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Janet Lawver, Debbie Satterfield and Patricia Ann Satterfield, a brother Rick Satterfield and brothers-in-law George Lawver and Richard Toker.
After graduating from Mt Pleasant High School in 1970, Terry spent over 50 years working as a heavy equipment operator in the local coal industry. He loved anything to do with horses and never missed the opportunity to watch rodeos broadcast on television. Throughout his life he rode horses and participated in calf roping in his younger years. He also loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and being a jokester to his family and friends. He will forever be missed by them all.
Honoring his wishes, cremation is planned and his family will hold a celebration of his life at a future date. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities www.ronaldmcdonaldhouse.org, or a Horse Rescue Charity of the donors choosing. Koch Funeral Home, Scio has been entrusted with his arrangements.
