Ewart L. Maorelli Jr.

Ewart L. Maroelli, 82, of Warwick died Thursday February 19th at his home. He was the husband of Joan M. (MacGowan) Maroelli.

Born in Providence, the son of the late Ewart L. "Moe" and Dorothy L. (Johnson) Maroelli, he had been a lifelong resident of Warwick. Mr. Maroelli was an assembler with Hammel Dalh and Nels Jamesberry for twenty-eight years before his retirement. Mr. Maroelli coached Warwick PAL football and served as an assistant coach for the Pilgrim High School Football team. "Coach Maroelli" was involved in youth sports all his life,and taught and coached many young athletes. He was an umpire for many of the Warwick baseball and softball leagues and was a member of the Warwick Umpires Association and the ASA Softball Association.

Besides his wife, he leaves his daughter, Marsha Maroelli Sloan and her husband Michael Sloan of Jonesboro, Maine.
