Ezekiel "Dix" Singleton Jr., 75, passed away Friday, July 5, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 11, 1948 in Conway, S.C. to the late Ezekiel Dix Sr. and Ettie Lee Evans Singleton.
Mr. Singleton was a loving and devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend.
Dix enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and gardening. He was an avid reader and Atlanta Braves baseball fan. He also spent many hours watching NASCAR, and was a long-time member of Union Methodist Church. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran.
Mr. Singleton is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jamie "Dannye" Rodgers Singleton; his daughters, Marsha S. Anderson (Allen) and Meredith Tournay (Bob); his grandchildren, Charlotte Tournay, Robert Tournay III, and Briley Anderson; his sisters, Sarah Beck (Al), Lettie Byrdic (Pete), and Janna Morrow; fur baby, Lilly Kate; and many other family and friends who will miss him.
A Celebration of His Life will be held 4pm Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Union Methodist Church with Pastor Joan Frenzel Officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 3:45pm, prior to the service, in the church fellowship hall.
