Fae Della Young, 77, of Layton, UT. passed away August 5, 2021, surrounded by her family at the Intermountain Medical Center from complications due to Covid.

Fae was born October 3, 1943 in Ogden, UT to Alvin & Della Stauffer. Fae married Ronnie Laymon in 1963 & later divorced, she remarried in 1969 to Larry B. Young and had many adventures together. Larry preceded her in death on November 23, 2007, she was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister (Shirley, Sheldon, Von, & Glenn)

Fae earned her bachelor's degree while raising her family and working in the field of Civil Services for nearly 20 years, Fae would then spend the next 17 years helping & touching the lives of many working with Medical & Assisted Living, she cherished & loved all her friendships with all her friends.

Fae loved & adored animals & could always be spotted sneaking a treat to a needy critter. Fae always made sure that if you came to her home that you had plenty to eat, she loved to offer snacks & meals to all, if you ever left hungry it was your own fault. Fae had a great love for the outdoors & mountains, she enjoyed her time gardening, canning, & making beautiful quilts to share with her family & friends. Fae really enjoyed going on road trips to Idaho with her family & make many stops on the way.

The family would like to send special thanks to the I.M.C. Respiratory staff for the care & compassion Fae received.

Fae is survived by sister, Thelda; son, Lynn; daughter, Dannette (Shane); two grandchildren, Jeff (Erica) and Josta (Joseph); three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Zoey, and Damien.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 10:00 am at Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton.

Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist's Layton Mortuary.
