Fahed Lutfi Raad
Entered Eternal Life on September 23, 2024, at the age of 82. Fahed was born to Lutfi Abdo Raad and Mary (Mukhar) Raad on November 1,1941 in Jerusalem, Palestine.
In 1948, Fahed and his family were forced to flee their West Jerusalem home to Amman, Jordan where he spent his younger years. While living in Amman, Fahed taught History and Religion and enjoyed playing soccer along with hanging out with his friends. He was a family man from the very beginning, helping his nieces and nephews with their education.
In 1965, Fahed met and fell in love with his wife of 57 years Ursula (Hanna) Raad. They were married in Amman on October 14,1966 and honeymooned in Jerusalem. On October 30, 1966, he moved to the United States and settled in Milwaukee, WI where he raised his family and three years later he became a U.S citizen.
Fahed began his career in banking and received an education in International Finance from the University of WI Madison. Fahed continued working his way up the ranks of the bank and retired as the Vice President of the International Division. He always told his family that he was living the American Dream and that "America is the best country in the world".
Fahed was a father, mentor, teacher and advisor to so many. Involved in the community, he was a soccer coach for many years, participated in the Kiwanis Club and President of the Jaycees.
A strong Catholic, Fahed taught many years of religious education and was a member of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre. He was dedicated to the Church through every aspect of his life believing that his faith in God would always guide him. Fahed was known for his many sayings. The one he was most known for was "Praise the Lord".
Fahed is survived by his wife Ursula (Hanna) Raad, a loving father to Nader (Brenda) Raad, Anthony (Pilar) Raad, Jeffrey (Tomomi) Raad and Mary Yacoub-Raad. Sido(Grandfather) to Jackson (Carlyn) Raad and Julia Raad; Vanessa, Natalie and Colleen Raad; Jordan, Matthew and Sophia Yacoub. Brother to Katie, Basem and Hiam. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his father and Mother Lutfi and Mary (Mukhar) Raad. Siblings Adele (Raad) Zananiri, Anthony Raad and Youseff Raad.
Keep Hope Alive!

Sorry that I didn´t get to talk to you at the wake.
I was in line when it was dispersed due to time.
I went into the church but didn´t see you.
