If a man dies when he is old, people often say, " He lived a good, long life." And while that may be true, Fain Kaspar knew there was so much more. From the day he placed his trust in Jesus, Fain lived in the light of a greater promise- the promise of eternity. He knew that his inheritance- his promise would include union with God and a joyful reunion with all of God's people. in this world as believers, we meet knowing we will part for a time at death, and part knowing we will meet again.

Fain moved his residency from this world to his Heavenly home on June 2, 2025. He leaves here a legacy of faith and a quiet strength that echoes on in the lives of his children who rejoice in the daddy who taught them to sing in harmony, played board games and always let them win, sat beside them through the night when they were sick, and worked tirelessly to help with math problems. Most importantly, he taught them to love the Lord that he loved. While he had a gift for tuning pianos, he also allowed the Lord to tune his heart with grace, humility, and compassion. It is such joy to know that because Christ died and was raised from the dead, anyone who repents of their sins and puts their trust in Christ will join Fain to be raised for everlasting life.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Paramount Baptist Church, in Building A5, Chapel 138, with Rev. Jeremy McMorris presiding.

Fain is preceded in death by son Russell Kaspar, brothers Jimmy Kaspar, Phillip Kaspar, Donnis Kaspar, and sister Mildred Rathke.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife Selma Kaspar, daughters: Sheila Williams and husband Gary of San Antonio, Texas, Colette Bundy of Odessa, Texas, Lonna Burgess and husband James of Amarillo, Texas, daughter-in-law Cheryl Kaspar of Amarillo, Texas; sister Deloris Leimer of Borger, Texas; brother Leslie Kaspar of Fortworth, Texas; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
