Farrell Glen Parker, age 86, of Henrietta, passed away Monday, August 18, 2025 at his home.
Farrell was born Thursday, June 1, 1939 in Lincoln County to the late Evan Carlos Parker and Hattie Smith Parker. He served honorably in the U.S. Army-Special Forces. Farrell owned and operated his own truck and worked as a truck driver for most of his life. He was an active member of Oak Springs Baptist Church where he enjoyed visiting shut-ins and giving food to the needy. He was community minded and always involved in helping others. Farrell truly was the hand of God to many.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Parker and by seven siblings.
Those left to honor his memory include his loving wife, Robin Elaine Parker; two sons, Tim Parker (Renee) and Teddy Parker both of Iron Station, NC; sisters, Mary Travis and Gladys Brown all of Maiden, NC and a special niece, Donna Travis also of Maiden.
In honor of Farrell’s wishes there will be no formal services.
