Fay Huber Brubaker, 88, of Lancaster passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at her home of 65 years. Born in Conestoga, she was the daughter of the late Clyde R. and Beulah Charles Huber. Fay was the loving wife of the late Donald Deiter Brubaker before his passing in 1995. Fay was a faithful member of Victory Church, Greenfield Location. She proudly graduated from Manor Joint High School in 1954 before attending Millersville University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1993. Fay took her degree to Mid Atlantic Psychiatric Physicians, where she worked for several years after working in the office at Weis Markets for many years.
Fay was a woman who cared deeply for her family and those she surrounded herself with. Fay was passionate about education and found great joy in traveling. Even into her late 70’s, she managed to travel far and wide, including Egypt, Italy, India, France, Germany and Europe. She was an avid gardener who especially enjoyed pulling weeds. Bowling and cards were other leisure activities you could find Fay participating in. Her homemade donuts were a fan favorite, and Fay’s family will remember her when enjoying them each time for years to come.
Surviving are three children, Ann, wife of James Bryson; Thomas Brubaker, husband of Angela Heithecker; Susan Brubaker, wife of Lynda Goldstein; grandchildren: Emily Bryson, Andrew Bryson (Ashley McFadden), Owen Brubaker, and Celia Brubaker. Preceding her in passing are two brothers and a sister.
The family wishes to thank Fay’s wonderful caregivers, Kathi and Cyndi for the unwavering care given to Fay over the past year.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA 17543 on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon with a brief time of sharing beginning at 11:30 AM.
