Faye Strickland Batten

Mrs. Faye Strickland Batten, age 81, of 586 Rhodes Pond Road, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield, NC, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Friday, April 15, 2022 at Pauline Baptist Church, Four Oaks, NC. The Dr. Robert Cooke and Dr. Sherrill Stevens will officiate. Entombment will follow in the church cemetery.
Faye was born May 20, 1940 in Johnston County, NC to the late Herman Allen and Estelle Whitley Strickland, Mrs. Batten along with her late husband, sons and grandson, was the owner and operator of Triple B. Farms, Incorporated. She was a member of Pauline Baptist Church and longtime treasurer for the Johnston County Youth Livestock Show and Sale. Mrs. Batten loved being outside and enjoyed gardening and farming. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie P. "Toby" Batten, brothers Edwin Strickland and Earl Strickland.
Surviving include her sons and daughters-in-law Charlie S. and Beverly Batten, Doug and Teresa Batten, all of Four Oaks, NC; grandchildren and spouses, April B. and Kevin Smith, Sara B. and Travis Johnson, Brandon and Jessica Batten, Shannon B. and William Beasley, and Charley B. and Justin Belsly, all of Four Oaks, NC; great-grandchildren, AnnaKate Smith, Kellen Batten Smith, Clayton Whitley Johnson, Alesa Faye Beasley, Toby-Caroline Johnson, William Jackson Beasley, Camden Percy Batten, Ava Charles Belsly, Adley Michelle Batten, Hayden McKinley Batten, and Cade Stephen Belsly, all of Four Oaks, NC; sister - Evelyn Strickland Hartsell of Winston Salem, NC, and sisters-in-law Ercell Batten Lee of Four Oaks, NC and Bonnie Allen Strickland of Newton Grove, NC; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6:00PM-8:00PM, Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. Friends and family are welcome to visit beginning Thursday Morning, April 14, 2022 at the home of Mrs. Faye Batten.
