Faye Combs, 77, of Tiptonville, died Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Born March 4, 1947, she is the daughter of the late John T. and Aline Estes Nunnery. She was a member of Wynnburg Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Curry Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel officiated by Reverend Chuck Graham with interment to follow in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors Tuesday, November 5th from 5:00 7:00 p.m. at the Ridgely Chapel.
Brandon Chessor, Blake Chessor, Brent Chessor, Brandon Hutcheson, Jon Nick Hutcheson and Jamie Higgins will serve as pallbearers.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Munn (Gary) of Gonzales, LA; her two sons, Johnny Hutching (Angie) of Murray, KY, Edward Chessor (Tammy) of Dyersburg; her sister, Linda Reynolds (Darrell) of Tiptonville; six grandchildren, Brandon Chessor, Kaysin Higgins, Blake Chessor, Taylor Munn, Chase Munn, Brent Chessor; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her sisters, Joyce Nunnery, Clady Jones; and her brothers, Jerrell Nunnery and Travis Nunnery (Bet).
The family requests memorials be directed to St. Jude’s, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
