Bishop Jerry Robbins, 75, of Georgetown, TN, formerly of Dyersburg, died Monday, December 22, 2025, at this residence. Born July 29, 1950, he was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Robbins and Martha Sue Stutts. He was retired as Pastor of Church of God of Prophecy for over 50 years.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2025, at River of Life Church of God of Prophecy in Ridgely officiated by Pastor Jeremy Robbins and Bishop Sam Clements with interment to follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday beginning at 9:30 until service time at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Robbins; two children, Amy Robbins and Jeremy Robbins (Angela), both of Dyersburg; three step-children, Troy Smith (Melissa), Carol Shull (Paul), Jenna Cannon (Bryan), all of Cleveland; two sisters, Anita Ellzey and Dianne King, both of Mississippi; one brother, Ronnie Stutts of Washington; eleven grandchildren, Justin Robbins, Baylee Robbins, Jacob Wilson, Jordan Alexander, Justin Cannon, Rachel Bryant, Riley Shull, Morgan Smith, Collin Shull, Maddie Smith, Maranda Smith; six great-grandchildren, Jax Robbins, Jaxon Bryant, Sawyer Bryant, Isla Cannon, Presley Cannon, Jacqueline Cannon; and one great-great-granddaughter, Rowen Shull.
Jeremy Robbins, Jacob Wilson, Jordan Alexander, Baylee Robbins, Justin Robbins, Jax Robbins, Bryan Cannon and Paul Shull will serve as pallbearers.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shelia Robbins.
