Faye Couch Obituary
Faye was known for her great sense of humor, compassionate heart, and her "very spicy" personality that those who loved her will never forget. She enjoyed going out to eat and especially treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church, Faye faithfully served and sang in the church choir for many years, a role she deeply loved.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Couch Jr.; her parents, Wesley Green Sr. and Lona Berry; and her brother, Wesley Green Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Royer (Steven) and Freda McBay (Kendall); grandchildren: Angel Whitaker, Aaron Whitaker, Kyle McBay (Lizzie), and Logan McBay (Paige); great-grandchildren: Jack Mahoney, Arabella Whitaker, and Lyndie McBay; and her sister, Juanita Stone.
Faye will be remembered for her warmth, laughter, faith, and the deep love she had for her family.
Visitation is 11:30 am – 1:30 pm Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm Saturday in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
