Faye Paulette Johns

Mrs. Faye Johns, age 70, of Winnfield, Louisiana was received in to Heaven on February 28, 2023. Faye enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and her little fur baby, Dot. She also enjoyed shopping at garage sales, flea markets, traveling with church groups, and listening to music. She was kind, thoughtful, witty and sweet. She had a unique way of making everyone she met feel special, and if you knew Faye, you knew you were loved. She had many close friends whom she considered family including Mary Ulery, Linda Cole, Debbie Cummings, Susie Potts, and Melba Shows. Faye volunteered at Mount Grace Women's Ministry and Teen Challenge.
She was preceded in death by her infant sons Curtis David Heyse, Jr., and David Wayne Heyse; parents, Joyce Jones Harvey and Baskin Robert Jones; siblings, Vivian Harvey, Patti Roncal Shoemake, Betty Jones, and David Jones.
Those left to love and miss her are her husband James Johns; stepdaughter, Nichole McGee (Jeremy) and their children Elijah, Levi, Bella; stepson, Daniel Johns; sister, Pam Grisham (Jim) and son Samuel; brothers, Samuel Jones, and Jerry Jones. Faye had many nieces and nephews including Angie Hutchinson, Gabe Roncal, Chris Roncal, Jeff Harvey, Kenneth Harvey, Jennifer Stephenson, Janet Cooper, Amanda Griffin, Lacey Garner, Stacey O'Bryan, Tiffany Womack, Matthew Heyse, Randal Shell, Kim Jones, Lyndell Shell, Carolyn Lawson, Laura Brosset, Rhonda Trammel, Jamie Garner, James E. Brown, Jr., Denise Hatten, Misty Walker, Renee Keyes Lynn, and Mark Keyes.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 5:00PM until 8PM at the First Assembly of God in Winnfield.
Funeral Services for Faye will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 4, 2023, also at First Assembly of God, Winnfield, with Rev. Nathan Newton, Rev. Lathon Hubbard, and Rev. Shaun Garner officiating. Interment will follow the service in Sardis Cemetery.
Those honored to serve the family as pallbearers are Caleb Cummings, Luke Cummings, Jeremy McGee, Curtis Garner, Gavin Garner, Landon Garner, and Junior Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Lyndall Shell and Stacy O'Bryan.
