In loving memory of Faye R. McCarty, born August 26, 1933, in Beaumont, Texas, to Glen and Lillian McCarty. Faye was an extraordinary mother and cherished Maw Maw to many.Faye peacefully went to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 20, 2024. She will be laid to rest at Holly Springs Cemetery in Montalba, Texas. A memorial service will be held at a later date, led by William (Lil) Paul McBride, who will offer comforting words and solace to those who gather to honor her life.Throughout her life, Faye showed unwavering dedication to her family. Her hard work and sacrifice were a testament to her love and commitment to provide for her children. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she found deep comfort in her church, Christian music, and her cherished Bible. Philippians 4:13 was her guiding verse: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."A unique prayer warrior, Faye's home was filled with notes detailing heartfelt prayers for those she loved. Her creativity was boundless-whether through sewing, painting, crafting, or nurturing her beloved yard and trees, she poured her heart into everything she touched. She loved decorating her home church and serving the Lord with her talents throughout the years.Faye now rests in eternity with her parents, brother CC McCarty, sisters Joyce Cline Betty Perthuis and other family members and dear friends who preceded her.She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith, survived by her children: Paul Hamilton (Sandy) of Palestine, Texas, Bobby Hamilton (Becky) of Bryan, Texas, and Rhonda Pelland (Ray) of Avondale, Arizona. Faye is lovingly remembered by her sisters JoAnn Walker and Barbara Tull, and brothers Tommy McCarty and Ruffin McCarty. Her memory will also live on through her four grandchildren William (Lil Paul) McBride (Chrissy) Lilly Moses (Ryan), Rockee Hamilton and Kimberly Bolden (Jason), six great-grandchildren; Christopher McBride, Danielle McBride, Brooklyn Moses, Hudson Moses, Christian Bolden, Destiny Bolden, and many nieces and nephews.Though we will not be having a traditional service at this time, we would like to take a moment to recognize the pallbearers who would have lovingly carried Faye to her final resting place: Lil Paul McBride, Christopher McBride, Paul McBride, Ray Pelland, Ryan Moses, and Hudson Moses. These individuals would have marked her journey with great honor and respect. As a special tribute, her children, Paul Hamilton, Bobby Hamilton, Rhonda Pelland's role transcends the physical, as they will continue to carry their mother's memory in their hearts with love and respect.In our sorrow, we gather to celebrate the life of Faye McCarty, a woman of remarkable love, unwavering faith, and boundless creativity. Yes, we mourn her passing, but we also rejoice, knowing that she is now in the loving arms of Jesus, her Lord and Savior. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
