Faye Poole Obituary
Elizabeth Faye Poole, age 86, of Hiram, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 9, 2024 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Pastor Jeff Childers and Rev. Max Padgett officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Smyrna, Georgia.
A native of Atlanta, GA, Mrs. Poole moved to Hiram, GA 8 years ago. She was a member of Cochran Ridge Baptist Church. She also had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening and loved watching birds. Mrs. Poole was also a great lady of faith who loved singing in church and working for the Lord. She was a beloved mother and "Grammy". She is preceded in death by a son, Edward "Eddie" McFall, and 3 siblings, Marvin (Ruth) Smallwood, Daryl Smallwood, and Sue Steffner.
Survivors include: Husband of 61 years, Bill Poole; Daughter, Darlene Hanvey, Clarksville, TN; Sister, Erline (Junior) Swan, Powder Springs, GA; Brother, Ike Smallwood, Douglasville, GA; 5 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
