Life can take you in circles unexpectedly! As a young dancer, I took a few classes with her. Fast forward 40 years plus, as an employee of the Phoebe Wyncote Nursing Home, my duties were to socialize, exercise and engage in activities with the residents. My first week there, a long legged beauty was bought into the room with the last name Snow, then someone called "FAYE! "Could that be her?" Then I knew, as she starred at me, FIERCLY, LOL! FAYE? FAYE SNOW IS THAT YOU MA'AM?" Yes it was her. My heart. Now my youth rushed back in my mind like a flood. Even in her last months, I had to give special attention to her. I HAD TO! They didn't know why. I had to protect her, check on her, be a pain in the butt. Sorry Faye but you meant that much to me. YOU WANTED TO KNOW HER OPINION, IT MATTERED TO ME. I asked her one day when I came to work, "Faye how does my hair look, you like it?" She replied quickly, NO! I went in the bathroom and changed it, lol. What memories, I had as a dancer, as a student with Ms. Faye. Although it was short, it was sweet. Sweet enough to make me stronger, bolder, unafraid. She made me MATTER. THANK YOU FAYE

So sorry to hear of the passing of Faye Snow. My brother danced in her Juba Contemporary Dance Company. A very lovely lady, she will truly be missed.
