Faye Miller Thomas, aged 72, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, in Davidson County, North Carolina. Born on March 19, 1952, in Guilford County, North Carolina, she lived a life full of love, dedication, and warmth.
Faye devoted over 30 years of her life working as a Furniture Factory Worker, where she became known for her hardworking spirit and commitment. Outside of work, she was a talented seamstress who enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Her kitchen was always a welcoming place, filled with the aroma of her delicious cooking, a testament to the deep love she held for family gatherings.
Faye cherished spending time with her family and her beloved fur babies. Her heart was especially linked to her twin sister, Kaye, with whom she shared countless cherished moments until Kaye's passing in April 2024. A faithful member of Prominence Baptist Church, Faye found comfort and community within its walls.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Bessie Miller; her daughter, Angela Faye Vanzant; her siblings, Grey Plowman, Nancy Plowman, Annie Kennedy, Laura Ruth Miller, and Kaye Alford.
Faye leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly: her devoted husband of 39 years, Charles Thomas; her daughter, Betty Lynn Wilkerson; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Nicholson Funeral Home in Thomasville., with a service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at 12:30 p.m. at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. The family is accepting flowers in honor of Faye's memory.
Faye's gentle spirit and unwavering love for her family will be forever remembered and cherished by all those who knew her.
