Faye Counts Wiley “Titter” was born on June 11, 1932 in Many, LA and went to be with her husband and daughter and their Lord and Savior on July 10, 2023, at the age of 91. She graduated from Many High School. Faye was a devoted home maker, wife, and loving mother of two children, Robert Lee Wiley, and Janie Faye Wiley. She embraced her time with family and treasured her role as wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and aunt. She enjoyed being outside in her yard piddling, keeping an immaculate house, raking/burning piles in Zwolle, and watching the birds at the feeder in her backyard. She found joy in cooking homemade biscuits and chocolate gravy (or passing out candies) for her family (especially for grandkids). She had an infectious laugh and loved to cut up and reminisce about the old days. We were blessed to have her in our lives, and she will be forever cherished.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA 71118. Officiating the service will be Brother Jay Knighten. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Bayou Scie Cemetery in Zwolle, LA with Brother Trey Lewis officiating.
