Fred graduated from Harlingen H.S. during his younger years he also became a resident of Gonzales & Cost, TX. He was united in Marriage to Antonia Rosas. To this union, two children were born Julie (Perales) Mcleod and Fred Perales Jr. and the couple raised two additional children from his younger brother. Lisa Perales and Mary (Perales) Bryant. Later in Life, he was joined in Marriage with Maria (Trevino) Perales of Encinal, TX. Joining them in marriage were her children Jaime Trevino and Angie (Trevino) Martinez.
Some of his careers in his lifetime included Managing the Southern Clay Organo Plant. Truck Driver with JB Hunt Co. retiring after 20 years with the Honorary accomplishment of earning the Million Miles Plus accident-free award. After he retired from JB Hunt, he continued his trucking career with E.F. Ehrig and Sons.
Fred enjoyed several hobbies planting a garden every year delivering his produce to family and friends. Fishing and Hunting also. He anticipated every year going to the annual catfish tournament with his close friends in Gonzales. One of his favorite things he enjoyed was cooking & BBQing for his family and friends with some authentic recipes. Fred passed away Saturday, February 16, 25 with his daughter Julie by his side @ The Heights of Gonzales, nursing home at the age of 73. He was preceded in death by his parents and his 2nd wife Maria (Trevino) Perales. His 3 Siblings: Petra Aleman, Francisco Perales, Robert Perales, Uncle Mel Rincon, and his beloved daughter Maria (Perales)Bryant.
Those left to Honor Fred's memory include two loving sisters. Irma Jackson and Rosemary Almonaci. His 2 daughters, Lisa Perales, and Julie McLeod his step-daughter Angie Martinez. His son Fred Perales Jr. and step-son Jaime Trevino. Including all his beloved grandchildren and great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society, or plant a tree in his name.
