God in his divine grace and mercy saw that he needed to add another beautiful, sweet spirit to
his heavenly choir, and he said to her it was time to join his angelic group. Even though she knew
that this would be difficult for family and friends that loved her, she also knew that the Father's
love for her was so much greater. God assured her he would take care of all loved ones she held
dear and would be leaving behind and promised she would see them again if they accepted Him
as their Savior as John 3:16 in the Bible said.
She answered her Savior's call and transitioned from this earthly life and entered her permanent
heavenly realm and beheld the face of God on June 20, 2025.
Felicia Boyd was born on March 6, 1961, in the City of Portsmouth, VA to Howard Boyd Sr. and
Velma E. Boyd. She was the fourth of eight children where she attended Portsmouth Public

athletic sports especially track and field and played the violin in the Tidewater Area Musician
Orchestral group (TAM) under the direction of the well-known Jeraldine Harding in which they

After graduation from High School, she enlisted in the United States Air Force where she was
stationed in Texas and California. Upon returning to the Hampton Roads area, she was employed

again return to the Hampton Roads area where she was employed by the Portsmouth's Sheriff's
Office as a deputy sheriff. Upon leaving the Sheriff's Office, she returned to the healthcare field
where her final employment was with Chesapeake Regional Medical Center where she worked
for over 20 years. Felicia's final place of residence was in the city of Suffolk living beside her good
