Felicidad Abellera, a cherished member of her family, passed away on August 27, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on December 4, 1935, in the Philippines to her parents Raymundo and Magdalena. Felicidad's life was marked by her kindness and caring nature, traits that endeared her to everyone who knew her.
Felicidad’s home was a sanctuary of warmth and love, where she dedicated her life to her family. She raised her daughters Lorna (her husband Nelson) Abellera-Talvy and Loida Abellera, and her son Manuel Joel (his wife Abel) Abellera. She took great pride in being a grandmother to Arvin (his wife Natalie), building lasting memories and strong bonds that will remain in the hearts of her loved ones.
She received her high school diploma and carried her education with pride. Felicidad created a nurturing and supportive environment for her family, ensuring that they felt loved and appreciated every day.
A visitation in honor of Felicidad will be held at the Mangano Family Funeral Home, Inc. located at 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY, 11729 on August 29, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and again later that evening from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
Felicidad Abellera will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family. Her spirit will live on through the many lives she touched with her caring heart.
