Felipe Maldonado's first sunrise was April 18, 1969, and his last sunset was May 31, 2025 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born and raised in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico by his loving parents, Francisco Rolando Segovia Gallegos and Maria Maldonado Chacon. In 1980, his mother moved him and his 8 other siblings to Alamo, Texas, where he lived until his teenage years. In his youth, he attended Pharr San Juan Alamo Independent School District.Felipe was a loving and caring son, brother, friend, and a proud father and uncle. He often went to many football, basketball, and soccer games with his family and friends. He would attend his son, Tristan Maldoando's, many football games; always the loudest and proudest spirit. He was often the jokester at family gatherings and celebrations, bringing joy and laughter with his spontaneous singing to his loud yells of dismay when he lost in his card games. And he was the kindest heart ever. Even when he had nothing for himself he found a way to give to those he cared for. He was also a hard-working man, working tireless days and nights at Mainscape Landscaping and with his own landscaping business. And through it all, he still managed to bring joyous smiles to our faces. He is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Maldonado Chacon; father, Francisco Rolando Segovia Gallegos; and his eldest brother, Elias Segovia Maldonado (Angela Martinez).Felipe's memory will live on by: his significant other, Shana Payne; daughter, Gabriela Maldonado; son, Tristan Maldonado; siblings, Ruth Perez (Juan) and her family, Rosa Maldonado (Vicente Romero) and family, Raquel Flores (Samuel) and their family, Orfa Maldonado (Ruben Romero) and family, Moises Segovia Maldonado (Esperanza Mares) and his family, José Maldonado and his family, and Samuel Segovia Maldonado and his family.
