Felipe L. Qui, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, at his home in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, at the age of 93.
Born on November 22, 1932, in the Philippines, Felipe pursued his dream of medicine and graduated from medical school there before moving to the United States. He built a distinguished career as a successful anesthesiologist, dedicating decades to caring for his patients until his retirement.
Felipe married the love of his life, Mary Pless, and together they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage. He was the proud father of three children: Peter Qui, Lisa Qui Frendahl, and David Qui. His legacy lives on through six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy. Felipe also grew up in a large family with seven siblings, cherishing the bonds of family throughout his life.
Felipe had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He was known for dancing around and being silly, especially when surrounded by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His playful spirit and laughter created cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of his family.
Outside of his professional achievements, Felipe had a zest for life. He loved playing tennis and had a deep passion for nature photography, capturing the beauty of the world through his lens. His kindness, devotion, and ability to find joy in simple moments will be remembered by all who knew him.
