Madeline "Maddie" Treaster

Madeline "Maddie" Treaster, 91, passed away on February 10, 2026 peacefully in her home, surrounded by family. Born September 21, 1934 in Milroy, Pennsylvania, she was the youngest daughter of the late Robert and Edna Wagner.

Maddie was the heart of her family, creating lasting memories that will be treasured for generations. Her first love was her husband of 71 years, Richard "Dick" Treaster. A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, she dedicated her life to caring for and cherishing the ones she loved most.

In addition to her parents, Maddie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Treaster (October 11, 2024); her son, Kim Treaster (December 19, 2024); and her siblings, Irene Kibe, Landis Wagner, Dale Wagner and Lucille Etzweiler.

Maddie is survived by her son, Ed Treaster, her daughters-in-law, Karen Treaster and Nancy Treaster, and her grandchildren, Corey, Mitchell, Merritt and Adam Treaster. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Harper, Bennett and Oliver, who will continue to honor her legacy of love and commitment.

A private gathering will be held for family and close friends to celebrate Maddie's life and the profound impact she had on all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a charity of your choice in her memory.
