Felix "Martel" Harmon

Felix "Martel" Harmon, 41, earned his wings on December 22, 2022. He was born September 4, 1981, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Sandra Harmon and Felix Cocroft. Martel attended East High school and later became a laborer for several companies. Martel was a family man; his friends and family would describe him as a great listener and the peacemaker. His gentle heart and spirit touched everyone that met him, his smile could easily light up a room. His sense of humor was "off the chain". He was a compassionate, caring, loyal, and respectful man. His greatest accomplishment in life was his 3 children. His presence will be missed sorely, deeply, and forever.
Martel leaves to cherish many memories, his parents Sandra Harmon and Felix Cocroft; children, Martavious Harmon, Martelis Harmon, and Taniah Woodfork; sister, Meshonte Turner and brother Ryan Harmon. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of nieces and nephews who will always remember Martel as "Unc". Special acknowledgments to Lateasha, Latoya, Dorothy, Marcel, Princey, Archie, Twee, and Martel's best friend Junebug, thank you for your love, support, and for always being there. Martel is predeceased in death by his nephew Justin O'neal Harmon, paternal grandparents, Cousin Robbo, friend Willie Medley and many others that he has been reunited with in heaven.
