Felix Lopez, age 86, of Socorro, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025, surrounded by love.
Born to Nemecio Lopez and Pauline Baca, he was the eldest of 10 siblings.
A hardworking man with a gentle heart, Felix spent his life providing for his family and bringing joy to those around him. He worked as a dedicated meat cutter and later as a truck driver, careers that reflected his tireless work ethic and quiet strength.
Outside of work, Felix found happiness in the simple pleasures-watching his favorite novelas, fishing whether in person or on his Gameboy, going up to his land and hunting.
Felix was a man of deep love, especially to his family. When he shared his stories, he was always smiling.He is survived by his brothers Nemecio and Ernest and his sister Lucy. He is survived by his cherished daughter Wanda and granddaughters Nichole, Morgan and Demecia, great grandchildren, Sasche, Dana, Juliana and Lilith and great great grandchildren Dilynn, John Paul III (d) and Paulina Rose, who will carry forward his memory with love and gratitude. His warmth, humor, and steady presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Reunited with our Heavenly Father, services will be held May 13th, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Viewing starts at 8:30am followed by Rosary at 9:30am and then Mass at 10am. Procession will follow where Felix will be laid to rest at Mount Calvary cemetery.
Pallbearers: Cyle Miller, Leonard Lopez, Gabriel Lopez, Dana Fernandez, Matt Collins and Abie Lopez.
Honorary Pallbearers: Sasche Wheeler and Pauline Lopez
