Fern Ludy Obituary
Fern E. Ludy, age 96, of Eaton, OH passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Vancrest of Eaton Healthcare Center. She was born September 7, 1929 in Preble County to the late Everett and Gladys (Pence) Poos.
Fern farmed with her husband Donald in Preble County for many years; and was a member of the Merry Homemakers organization.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Ludy; son Leon Ludy; and brother Lowell Poos.
She is survived by her son Gene Ludy of Eaton; daughter Rose (Terry) Wolfe of Eaton; grandsons James Ludy, Levi Ludy, Derek Wolfe, Darren Wolfe and John Ludy; great grandchildren Julian and Maryn Ludy; and several nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 W. Main St. Eaton, OH 45320. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent to the family by visiting www.gardfuneralhome.com
