Fernando Muñoz, 44, of Odessa, passed away on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Martinez West Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Fernando was born in Odessa to Rosa and Ruben Muñoz on December 18, 1980
He was married to Angelica Chavez. He worked as a welder for Permian Anchors and enjoyed working on low riders in his spare time. He was always willing to lend a hand when it came to fabricating cars, and installing hydraulics in low riders. He was a loving grandfather that enjoyed having his grandkids home to play with. He was always up for a get-together, especially if it consisted of food. He was known for his sense of humor and out-of-the-box thinking.
Fernando is preceded in death by his sister, Juana Minerva Muñoz, and his grandfather, Salvador Escobedo.
Fernando is survived by four daughters, Yara Leigh Muñoz, Nara Leigh Muñoz, Zara Leigh Muñoz, and Maritza Soledad Venzor; brothers, Ruben Jr. and Edward Muñoz; sisters, Mireya Lopez and Naila Muñoz; parents, Ruben and Rosa Muñoz; and grandchildren, Berkleigh Muñoz Berkheimer, Kayven Leigh Gerber and NovaLeigh Izabelle Garcia.
The immediate family of Fernando wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the Martinez West Funeral Home and everyone who has had them in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time, including the monetary donations received.
