Obituary Benjamin P. Martinez
Benjamin P. Martinez, 94, passed away on November 1, 2025, in Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 pm on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Martinez Funeral Home.
Rosary will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Martinez Funeral Home.
Funeral services will by held at 2:00pm on November 5, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
Benjamin Martinez was born in San Antonio Del Bravo, Chihuahua Mexico to Felix Martinez and Luz Prieto. He went to school in San Antonio Del Bravo. He married Olga Loya on September 20, 1958, in San Antonio Del Bravo, Chihuahua. He worked as an operator for General Tire and Rubber Company for 31 years. He retired in 1992. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church since 1958.
Benjamin P. Martinez is preceded in death by his wife, Olga Martinez, his daughter, Minerva Martinez, his parents, Luz and Feliz Martinez, and his brothers Ruben, Carlos, Juan and Francisco Martinez and his sisters, Sofia Towns, Guadalupe (Lupe) Chavez, Cruz Sanchez, Agripina Mendoza, Crispina Ornelas, Lucia Baeza, Isadora (Lola) Salgado.
He is survived by his children, Yolanda Martinez Ramirez and her husband Reynaldo Ramirez, Benjamin Martinez Jr. and his wife Jaime Martinez, Elizabeth (Lisa) Martinez and her husband Alvaro Martinez, Maria Luz Martinez-Gonzales, (Mary) and her husband David Gonzales, Javier Martinez, Jorge (George) Martinez and his wife Angie Martinez, Robert Martinez and his wife Sarah Martinez and Eduardo (Eddie) Martinez and his wife Catrina Martinez. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, Joaquin Ramirez and Rachel Ramirez Perez, Robert Benjamin Martinez-Castillo, Danielle Levario, Natalie Vasquez, Emerald and Isadora Martinez, Alexis Weston, Diego and Nicolas Martinez, Marisa, Marina and Sofia Gonzales, Alex Vasquez, Cecilia Martinez, Mia Puckett, Eva and Clara Martinez and Desiree Franco, Tatiana, Eddie Jr. and Christopher Martinez. He had nineteen great grandchildren including Michael, Alex and Benjamin Perez, Charlie, Dylan and Logan Levario, Joseph, Emma, Luna and Lilly Weston, Bodie and Scottie Puckett, Abigail, Jonathan and AJ Bejarano and John David Villa. He also had one great-great granddaughter, Ava Nieto.
Pallbearers will be Benjamin Martinez, Jorge Martinez, Robert Martinez, Eddie Martinez, Robert Benjamin Martinez-Castillo and Joaquin Ramirez.
