Ferrell J. Froedge, age 88, passed away in Bowling Green, Kentucky on November 23, 2023. In addition to his parents Everett and Maymie Hurt Froedge, he is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Sue Froedge, and their son Douglas Froedge. His brothers; Earl Froedge, Murrel Froedge, Elwood Froedge, and Maxwell Froedge, as well as his sister Leola Crossman, also precede him in death.
Survivors include his daughter Dianna Williford and her husband Lloyd; five grandsons Jason Martin (Ange), Brian Jones (Jessica), Tyler Pruden (Lauren), Casey Pruden, and Jordan Pruden (Kelsey). Twelve great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, three siblings; Emogene Riherd, Anita Scott, Joyce Nunn, and Jerry Froedge as well as several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2023 and from 9 until 11 a.m. Monday, with funeral services conducted at 11 a.m. all at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel. Burial will follow in Bowling Green Gardens.Expressions of sympathies may be made to the Southern Kentucky Soapbox Derby.
