Claudia Renia Froedge

Claudia Renia Moore Froedge, 56, of Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY after a long illness. She was born on December 21, 1968, in Oak Park, IL to the late Bobby G. and Ruth Loy Moore. She was also preceded in death by a brother Ronald Lee Loy.
Mrs. Froedge was a member of Hadley's Community Church and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. With 34 years of dedicated service, Claudia was devoted to her work at Lindsey Wilson College, acting in the roles of Registrar and Assistant Registrar.
Claudia is survived by her husband of 20 years Dean Froedge of Columbia, KY; a brother-in-law Wendell Froedge (Rhonda) of Columbia, KY; a niece LaDanna Froedge of Bowling Green, KY; a sister-in-law Debbi Loy of Burbank, IL and many dear cousins and a host of other relatives and wonderful friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Loy Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue Monday until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
Bro. Elbert Hadley will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Kasey Loy, Wesley Melson, Todd Smith, Chato Prado, Johnny Carter and Isaiah Carter.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Green River Animal Shelter or Hadley's Community Church.
