Con profundo dolor anunciamos el fallecimiento de Fidel Corral. Fidel una alma generosa de buen corazón, amado por todos los que lo conocieron, partió de este mundo el 12 de julio de 2024. Nacio el 25 de julio de 1959 en Santiago Papasquiaro, Durango, México. Querido hijo de Gabriel Corral y difunta madre Maria Corral Echeverria, amado esposo de Elia Corral, padre cariñoso de cuatro hijas Crystal, Diana (Alberto Alcantara), Gabriela (Brendan Kremer) y Kayla, abuelo devoto de tres nietos Nico, Micha Alcantara y Xavier Kremer Corral, querido hermano de Raquel Ramirez, Ana Montoya, Francisco Corral, Teresa Quiñones, Maria Concepcion Quiñones y Misael Corral, cariñoso cuñado, tio y tio abuelo de muchos. Sus perritos Jojo, Frida y Rocco lo extrañarán.
Cuando era niño, Fidel disfrutaba ayudar su familia sembrando, cuidando sus caballos y vacas. Emigró a Chicago en los años 70 y cuando era adoloscente comenzó a trabajar en el taller de automóviles de su tío, Corral Auto Service. Años más tarde, se convirtió en propietario de Corral Auto Service y continuó haciendo crecer su pequeña empresa desde cero. Fidel era un apasionado de su trabajo y era querido por sus empleados y clientes leales. Disfrutaba hacerles bromas a sus hermanos y primos, arreglar autos, ver fútbol, pasar tiempo con su familia y escuchar rock español.
La alegria y sonrisa noble de Fidel alegraron la vida de quienes lo rodeaban. Era por su sentido de humor juguetón, siempre impredecible con una broma para hacer sonreír a la gente. Su comportamiento cariñoso y afectuoso tocó los corazones de muchos, a lo que le dio el título de "la mejor persona" a los ojos de muchos afortunados que lo conocieron.
A Fidel le sobreviven su adorada familia y amigos que siempre apreciarán los recuerdos que compartieron con él. Fidel dejó un legado de amor, dedicación a la familia y pasión por su taller, compartiendo su cariño y sentido del humor con todos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Si bien su presencia física puede habernos dejado, su bondadoso y humilde corazon vivirá eternamente en nuestros corazones.
Al honrar a Fidel Corral, no lamentemos su fallecimiento, sino celebremos la extraordinaria vida que vivió y el profundo impacto que tuvo en quienes lo rodearon. Que su risa siga resonando en nuestros corazones, brindándonos consuelo en momentos de dolor. Descansa en paz, querido Fidel. Te extrañaremos profundamente pero nunca te olvidaremos, permanecerás en nuestros corazones para siempre.
El velorio se llevará a cabo el lunes 15 de julio de 2024, de 5:30 p.m. hasta las 8:00 p.m. y el martes 16 de julio de 2024, de 8:30 a.m. a 10:30 a.m., en McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 530 West Boughton Rd Bolingbrook, IL 60440. La misa fúnebre está programada para las 11:00 a.m. del martes 16 de julio de 2024, en la Iglesia Católica St. Dominic, 420 E Briarcliff Rd, Bolingbrook, IL 60440. El entierro seguirá en el Cementerio Católico del Santo Sepulcro, 6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Fidel Corral. Fidel, a generous and good-hearted soul, loved by all who knew him, departed this world on July 12, 2024. He was born on July 25, 1959, in Santiago Papasquiaro, Durango, Mexico. Dear son of Gabriel Corral and late mother Maria Corral Echeverria, beloved husband of Elia Corral, loving father of four daughters Crystal, Diana (Alberto Alcantara), Gabriela (Brendan Kremer), and Kayla, devoted grandfather of three grandchildren Nico & Micha Alcantara and Xavier Kremer Corral, dear brother of Raquel Ramirez, Ana Montoya, Francisco Corral, Teresa Quiñones, Maria Concepcion Quiñones and Misael Corral, loving brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle of many. He will be missed by his fur babies Jojo, Frida, and Rocco.
As a child, Fidel enjoyed helping on his family farm by caring for his horses and cows. He immigrated to Chicago in the 70's and as a teenager started working at his uncle's auto shop, Corral Auto Service. Years later, he became owner of Corral Auto Service and continued to grow his small business from the ground up. Fidel was passionate about his work and was loved by his employees and loyal customers. He enjoyed pranking his siblings and cousins, fixing cars, watching soccer, spending time with his family, and listening to Spanish Rock.
Fidel's joy and noble smile brightened the lives of those around him. He had a playful sense of humor, always unpredictable with a joke to make people laugh. His loving and caring demeanor touched the hearts of many, earning him the title of "the best person" in the eyes of many lucky ones who knew him.
Fidel is survived by his loving family and friends who will always cherish the memories they shared with him. Fidel left a legacy of love, dedication to family, and passion for his shop, sharing his affection and sense of humor with everyone who knew him. While his physical presence may have left us, his kind and humble heart will live eternally in our hearts.
As we honor Fidel Corral, let us not mourn his passing, but rather celebrate his extraordinary life and profound impact on those around him. May his laughter continue to resonate in our hearts while comforting us in these times of pain. Rest in peace, dear Fidel. We will miss you deeply and will never forget you, you will remain in our hearts forever.
Visitation will take place on Monday, July 15, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m, at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 530 West Boughton Rd Bolingbrook, IL 60440. The funeral mass is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 420 E Briarcliff Rd, Bolingbrook, IL 60440. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, 6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803
