It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Fidencio Gallardo Lopez, who departed from this world on September 23, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on November 16, 1932, Fidencio led a life filled with resilience, compassion, and devotion to his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Maria Gallardo, and sister, Maria Paula Gallardo Lopez.
Fidencio was a loving father, and he is survived by his cherished children: Josefina Gallardo, Juliana (Reynaldo) Gonzalez, Fidencio (Concepcion) Gallardo Jr., Maria Dolores (Juan Pablo) Zerutche, Fermin (Rosa) Gallardo, and Ana (Rodolfo) Meraz; 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, sisters: Fermina Gallardo Lopez (+), Arnulfa Gallardo Lopez, & Felicitas Gallardo Lopez, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who carry forward his legacy of love and strength. He touched the lives of many with his warm smile and kind heart, and his absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew him.
A funeral service to honor Fidencio's life will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, from 5 pm to 11 pm. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate his memory and share in the stories that reflect the vibrant life he lived.
Services will conclude in the chapel and his body will be transferred to Panteon del Norte in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, where he will be laid to rest.
In this time of mourning, let us remember the joy Fidencio brought into our lives and the lessons of love and perseverance that he imparted. He will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us in spirit as we carry forward his legacy of kindness and dedication to family.
